Nikki Giovanni selected the poems in 2023 for this limited edition designed by Denise Brady who hand set the text in Garamond and Studio types. Jim Cox assisted in printing the text in two colors on a Vandercook No. 4. Patty Talbert cut three linoleum plates for the title page image which Denise printed on her handmade cotton rag paper. The printer also sewed the signatures and, with the assistance of Emily Anderson, made the cover paper from cotton and jute halfstuff.
